Warranty Terms

1.1 With the exception of electronic components, used vehicle parts that have been sold and delivered to buyers are eligible for warranty.

1.2 The buyer can only claim warranty rights by presenting the relevant purchase agreement or invoice and, if applicable, the issued warranty card. If the item bears a registration number or brand marking, the buyer can only claim warranty rights if the respective marking or registration remains intact when invoking the warranty.

1.3 The buyer's claims under the warranty are not transferable to third parties.

1.4 The warranty is granted for a period of one month from the date on which the item was delivered to the buyer. If defects appear within the warranty period under normal use, the buyer has the right to offer the delivered item to AutoHam for replacement or repair, in accordance with Article 8 of the applicable General Terms and Conditions.

1.5 The transport of the item to and from AutoHam for repair or replacement is at AutoHam’s expense. In the event of an incorrect order and/or if the item offered for repair or replacement is not eligible for warranty under these warranty terms, the transport costs to and from AutoHam shall be borne by the buyer.

1.6 AutoHam undertakes, provided that the requirements of Article 4 of these Warranty Terms and Article 8 of the General Terms and Conditions are met, to repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of the item offered for repair/replacement within a reasonable period.

1.7 These Warranty Terms apply to the item received by the buyer after repair or replacement.

1.8 The buyer is not entitled to warranty claims:
a. if the buyer has provided incorrect or insufficient information regarding the brand and model of the purchased item and/or the vehicle for which the part is intended;
b. if the buyer has performed or had performed any work on the purchased item, including but not limited to repairs, modifications, or disassembly;
c. if there is faulty and/or improper installation/use of the purchased item or if the vehicle in which the item is installed is used for purposes other than normal road traffic (e.g., speed tests, reliability trials, excessive loads related to a combination of passenger cars and trailers or caravans, etc.);
d. if any other provision of the applicable General Terms and Conditions or Warranty Terms has been violated, insofar as these prescribe the forfeiture of rights.

1.9 The buyer cannot derive any right to compensation of any kind from the warranty, except insofar as AutoHam is obliged to do so under the applicable General Terms and Conditions.

2.0 AutoHam reserves the right to deviate from these Warranty Terms if the buyer has been explicitly informed before the conclusion of the purchase agreement and the deviations have been documented between AutoHam and the buyer.
